Artists with a clear sound and a real story
You do not need a large following. We are looking for creators with a clear sound, a defined identity, and work that is ready to be shared.
- Singers, rappers, producers, musicians, and podcasters
- Solo creators, duos, groups, and creative teams
- Limited spots available. Selected creators will be contacted directly

Frequently asked questions
Is there a cost to apply?
No. It is free to apply and participate if selected.
Can I submit as a group?
Yes. Duos, bands, collectives, and creative teams are welcome.
What if I'm not in Los Angeles?
Current in-person sessions take place in LA. Remote creators may still apply for future digital Spotlight features.
Do I own my recordings and images?
Yes. You retain ownership of your recordings and content. Media created by Audio Icon may be used for promotional purposes. If selected, you'll grant Audio Icon permission to feature and share your content.
How long until I hear back?
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Due to limited spots, only selected creators will be contacted.
Can I bring a collaborator or manager?
Yes, with advance notice. We will confirm guest details before the session.
Can I reapply if I am not selected?
Yes. You're welcome to reapply as your work evolves. We recommend submitting again when you have new or improved content.
